To borrow books and become a library member, you will need to pay an annual recurring subscription fee (this automatically renews every year until you cancel your subscription). Your membership fee helps to keep the library open and accessible. You may cancel your subscription anytime via our website.
You can borrow up to 5 books each time.
Books can be borrowed for up to one month.
Books can be renewed for a maximum of one additional month by filling in this loan renewal form. This link can be found in our website or on our Instagram bio link. You will receive an email from one of our librarians when your loan renewal has been processed.
There are no late fees, but we encourage everyone to return their books on time so our community of book-lovers can continue to share, benefit from and enjoy the books.
You will receive email notifications / reminders when your books are about to be due.
As every book is a cherished item, we encourage library members to take good care of all library items borrowed to prevent loss or damage.
Lost or damaged item charges are payable. Patrons have the option to pay SGD$25 per lost/damaged book or replace the book with a new copy, depending on the preference of the bookshelf-owner. Let us know if you have lost or damaged a book =(

Activating your library membership if you’ve signed up online
If you’ve signed up online, you will have to activate your membership by approaching our librarian while you’re at the library. Simply show us your payment receipt and we will set up a library account for you. See you at the library soon!
